Accessibility
The guides should work with a screen reader, a keyboard, a phone or a printout.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the site.
What we do
- Pages use headings, lists and tables in their proper roles, so steps and specification tables can be navigated with a screen reader.
- Text and links meet AA contrast in both the light and the dark color schemes.
- Every control can be reached and used from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Drawings carry text descriptions, and nothing is conveyed by color alone.
- Pages reflow to narrow screens without sideways scrolling, and print cleanly.
Known limitations
- The manufacturer documents we link to are PDFs and web pages run by those manufacturers; we cannot vouch for their accessibility.
- The exploded view on the home page is a drawing. Its parts are listed in its text description, not as separate links.
Report a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days.
